Chemiewerk Bad Köstritz GmbH has a great tradition in the production of sulphur compounds
as the company's oldest production line. The production of sodium thiosulphate was first
mentioned in 1871.
Today, in addition to traditional sodium thiosulphate (anhydrous, crystals or liquid),
the company also produces ammonium thiosulphate (solid and liquid), potassium sulphite, ammonium sulphite,
ammonium hydrogen sulphite and potassium thiosulphate in modern production plants. The chemical purity and high
quality of these products are of primary importance. Furthermore Chemiewerk Bad Köstritz GmbH has efficient systems
for producing and filling of significant fixing and developing compounds for the photographic industry. The container
sizes used for these products extend from tank lorries to 1 litre bottles, from big bags to plastic bags - as well
with as without a vacuum.
