Our silica products – synthetically manufactured amorphous oxygen acids of silicium (SiO₂ * nH₂O).

The natural inorganic raw materials of sand and soda are combined to produce water glass.
We use this to produce high purity silicas using ion exchange processes with average particle
sizes of 5 nm (nanometers) to 25 µm (micrometers) .

Nanocolloid (colloidal silica, Köstrosol^®): 5 nm to 100 nm
Micronised silica gels (Köstrosorb^®): 0,2 µm (=200 nm) to 25 µm

Our product range is updated on an on-going basis by the staff in our research department to suit customers' requirements and the trends on the market. Customised application properties are developed.
